Extended Width patterns are designed to quilt one belly bar full (area between the take up roller and the belly bar) by xx.x" width of quilt. Load your quilt and then measure the width you want to quilt. Choose the extended width pattern size which most closely matches that measurement. If your software is edge-to-edge only, you will not be able to use extended width patterns.
