Extended width patterns are designed to quilt one belly bar full (area between the belly bar and the take up roller) by xx.xx" width of quilt. Quilters who have the edge-to-edge only module in their software cannot use extended width patterns. Load your quilt portrait and measure the width you want to quilt. Select the pattern with the width which most closely matches that measurement. Some patterns don't adjust as well as others when you try to change the width, and that's the case with this one. If the smaller width pattern is not wide enough, select the next size up and use your trim, mask, crop feature.__SHRINKAGE ALERT: This pattern can be tricky to keep lined up from one pass to the next. Keep your stitches per inch as low a number as possible while still looking good on the quilt. Keep the quilt sandwich as taut as possible without having needle deflection/thread breaking. Use the lowest loft batting acceptable to your customer. This pattern is NOT suitable for high loft batting.
